Member Practice Networks

Connect.
Collaborate.
Lead.

SAC’s Member Practice Networks (MPNs) are a reimagined version of the Special Interest Groups (originally developed by OSLA and now carried forward by SAC). They are designed to bring members together around shared areas of interest, practice, or expertise. These networks are spaces where you can connect with peers, exchange knowledge, and contribute to advancing your profession-all while supporting SAC’s mission to champion and support communication health professionals in Canada.

Why Join a Member Practice Network?

MPNs provide a structured yet flexible platform where members can:

  • collaborate with peers by sharing experiences, challenges, and solutions;
  • grow professionally by staying informed about emerging issues, trends, and evidence-based practices;
  • develop leadership skills by taking on roles such as MPN Chair or Co-Chair, or contributing to network projects to advance their careers;
  • shape the future of the profession by informing SAC’s advocacy, resources, and policy development; and
  • find community and mentorship by engaging with colleagues across all career stages and regions.
