SAC Mentorship Program

Speech-Language & Audiology Canada’s Mentorship Program connects graduating students, new practitioners, and mid-career members seeking a new professional focus with established or recently retired speech-language pathologists and audiologists. The program supports career development by helping participants navigate the opportunities and challenges they face throughout their professional journey.

Mentees gain insight into the professional world, expand their network and identify areas for personal and professional growth.

Mentors will have the opportunity to earn CEE credits, give back to their profession, make new contacts, and learn about new trends while enhancing their leadership, communication and management skills.

How does the program work?

Mentors and mentees are paired based on various factors, including their profession, location, language proficiencies and professional interests. Mentors and mentees will be in regular contact throughout the duration of the program, which runs formally from October through March.

Once paired, mentors and mentees will receive additional information and guidance from SAC to support their relationship.
