SAC works hard to promote the important role S-LPs, audiologists and communication health assistants play in the Canadian healthcare and education systems. Each year, we produce various resources and tools to empower our members and associates to help spread the word about their professions. We have also embarked on numerous advertisement campaigns and regularly represent communication health issues on Parliament Hill.
SAC’s Professional Development Program provides quality professional development opportunities for audiologists, speech-language pathologists and communication health assistants. In addition to SAC Conferences and The SAC Audiology Event, we offer a number of in-person workshops and web-learning opportunities throughout the year. All online SAC PD is FREE for members and associates. We also publish the Canadian Journal of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (CJSLPA).
